The local scope

Drywall Repair in Surrey, scoped in writing first.

Drywall calls in Surrey split pretty cleanly by the age of the building. Older character homes around Whalley and North Surrey come with settled corners, cracks that keep returning, and textured ceilings that need real matching, not a smear of mud and a prayer. Newer townhouse complexes in Fleetwood and Newton mostly need doorknob holes patched, water-stained sections cut out and replaced, and anchor holes filled after a move. Strata condos near Guildford Town Centre and SFU Surrey Campus are usually move-out work: screw holes filled, scuffed corners rebuilt, walls left paint-ready for whoever is next. Whatever the building, my process does not change. Photos come in through the quote form, a written estimate goes back, then layered compound, proper sanding, and texture matched to what is already on the wall. The $150 minimum covers a single Surrey visit, and several small patches can share that one visit.

The complete checklist and service FAQ live on my main Drywall Repair page. This page is how the same scope lands in Surrey.

On site

Dust control in a tower, solid edges in an older Surrey wall.

Same scope, local ground. This is how a drywall repair call actually runs once I am in Surrey.

Field note

A patch in a Guildford tower means dust control matters more than anywhere else, so I seal off the work area and vacuum-sand where the layout allows. In an older North Surrey home I open the hole up until I reach solid material, because chasing a crumbling edge is how patches fail. Fleetwood and Newton townhouses with knockdown ceilings get a sprayed match, left slightly proud and knocked down to blend. If a wall in your Surrey home has been patched before and still shows, send me a photo of it in raking light and I will tell you honestly whether it needs a redo or a full skim coat.

Pricing

Surrey patches are priced on the finish, not the hole.

The patch is the quick part. Matching the texture around it and getting the paint to disappear is where the hours go, so I price the finish rather than the hole. You approve a written number before I pick up a tool in Surrey.

Asked in Surrey

Surrey drywall questions, texture and turnovers.

My older Surrey home has textured ceilings. Will the patch blend in?

Usually, yes. Stipple and knockdown ceilings are common in older Whalley and Fleetwood homes, and I match them with sprayed knockdown or sponge-rolled stipple. I will tell you up front how close the blend can get, because heavily aged texture never matches to zero.

Do you do move-out drywall repairs for Surrey rental units?

Yes. Units near SFU Surrey Campus and Guildford turn over often, and I patch, sand, and leave the walls paint-ready between tenants, with photos of the finished work if you want them for your records.

For property managers

If you run units, I take turnovers, deficiency lists and recurring maintenance on a written scope, with GST-registered invoicing and one person to call. How trade accounts work.
