The local scope

Assembly & Mounting in Abbotsford, scoped in writing first.

Every move-in ends with the same pile: a TV that needs mounting, a mirror too heavy to trust to drywall anchors, flat-pack boxes stacked in the garage, and curtain rods still in their packaging. That last ten percent is a service I offer across Abbotsford. TVs go on the wall level, with in-wall cable kits so no cords dangle. Heavy art and mirrors get anchored into studs or rated hardware, not hope. Wardrobes and closet systems get shimmed plumb and anchored against tipping, which matters in any house with kids. If you have just landed in Auguston or one of the newer master-planned pockets, I can clear the whole setup list in one visit, and in established East Hill and Clearbrook homes I bring the stud finder and the patience their older walls require. The $150 minimum makes a bundled list the smart play: one trip, everything hung, mounted, and solid.

The complete checklist and service FAQ live on my main Assembly & Mounting page. This page is how the same scope lands in Abbotsford.

On site

A TV, two wardrobes, a gallery wall, and blinds in three rooms.

Same scope, local ground. This is how a assembly & mounting call actually runs once I am in Abbotsford.

Field note

Booked as one Abbotsford visit, it looks like this: a 65 inch TV mounted over the media unit with the cables run inside the wall, two flat-pack wardrobes built, shimmed level, and anchored to studs, a gallery wall laid out and hung straight, and blinds up in three bedrooms. In an older East Hill house I locate studs carefully because the framing does not always sit where the tape measure says it should. If you rent near the University of the Fraser Valley, get your landlord's written go-ahead first, then I will mount everything clean and easy to patch at move-out.

Pricing

An Abbotsford mounting list prices by what it hangs on.

Per item, by what it hangs on. Wood studs go quickly, concrete and tile take longer, and anything heavy needs an anchor rated for it, which I confirm on site. You approve a written number before I pick up a tool in Abbotsford.

Asked in Abbotsford

Mounting questions from Abbotsford move-ins.

Can I get things mounted in a rental near the University of the Fraser Valley?

Get your landlord's written go-ahead first, then yes. I mount everything clean and easy to patch at move-out, which is the part that protects your deposit.

Are the studs where the tape measure says in an older East Hill house?

Not always, which is why I locate them carefully instead of trusting the spacing. Heavy art and mirrors get anchored into studs or rated hardware, and tall wardrobes get anti-tip anchoring as standard in any house with kids.
