The local scope

Assembly & Mounting in White Rock, scoped in writing first.

Move into a place on the White Rock hill and the last ten percent of the move shows up fast: the TV needs mounting, the wardrobe is in forty pieces, and the mirror is too heavy to guess at. I mount TVs level with the cables managed, hang heavy art and mirrors into studs or anchors rated for the real load, assemble flat-pack furniture so it does not wobble, and strap tall pieces so they cannot tip. Condo walls can hide concrete or steel studs, and older houses hide surprises of their own, so I bring fasteners for whatever the wall turns out to be instead of forcing one method everywhere. Curtain rods, blinds, closet systems, and floating shelves fill out the usual list, and bundling several installs into one visit is the smart way to use the $150 minimum. Written estimate first, tidy work, and the packaging leaves with me.

On site

Big mirrors, unforgiving walls, and the last ten percent of a move.

Same scope, local ground. This is how a assembly & mounting call actually runs once I am in White Rock.

Field note

A condo near the Promenade might be a TV on an articulating mount, blinds in the bedroom, and a bed frame built before the first night. A family home up in Centennial Park is more often the full move-in list: wardrobes anchored, a gallery wall laid out level, anti-tip straps on the dresser in the kids room. In view homes on the bluff, the mirrors and art tend to be large and unforgiving, so I locate studs first and use rated anchors only where the framing refuses to cooperate. If the wall turns out to be masonry, I say so and drill it properly rather than hoping.

Pricing

What a White Rock mounting visit is priced per.

Per item, by what it hangs on. Wood studs go quickly, concrete and tile take longer, and anything heavy needs an anchor rated for it, which I confirm on site. You approve a written number before I pick up a tool in White Rock.

Asked in White Rock

Mounting questions from White Rock condos and hill houses.

What is behind the walls in a White Rock condo?

Sometimes concrete, sometimes steel studs, and the answer changes the fastener. I bring hardware for whatever the wall turns out to be rather than forcing one method everywhere, and if it is masonry I drill it properly instead of hoping.

Can you hang a heavy mirror in a bluff-side house?

Yes. I locate the studs first and use rated anchors only where the framing refuses to cooperate. In the view homes the mirrors and art tend to be large and unforgiving, so that order matters.
