Fence and deck calls keep me busiest on Cloverdale's south side. The rural Hazelwood properties run long fence lines, and out there a leaning post or a dragging gate is usually a footing and hardware problem, not just tired wood. Up in Clayton Heights the decks are smaller but the townhouse fences live in close quarters and show wear fast, while West Cloverdale and the streets around the Town Centre hold plenty of cedar fences and decks that are overdue for board replacement and a proper re-stain. My order of operations never changes: wash the wood first, replace anything rotten, then finish with a quality semi-transparent stain, Sansin and Behr Premium are my usual picks, so the grain stays visible and protected instead of buried under paint. Spring fills up first for refinish work and fall is the smart window for structural repairs ahead of the winter rain. Photos of the worst sections through the quote form and I will put the scope and the price in writing.
